Stefanie has been doing web design in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1997 starting with a local Marin County newspaper who was in need of a first-time website. Right from the beginning, her web sites were artistic and eye-catching while being functional and user-friendly. Stefanie started out as an illustrator when she was old enough to pick up a pencil. All throughout her youth she drew and painted as much as possible using every medium accessible. In art school she studied under several professional illustrators and learned many tricks of the trade and came to full bloom. In the professional realm, she decided to use those capabilities as an illustrator to enhance graphic and web design. The categories below show the mediums she is most proficient at and utilizizes professionally:
photography
Stefanie's expereince with photography started in a highschool photography class. She moved on from there to take several more years of photography in art school and then took the knowledge out into the world to use with her graphic design, web design and illustration skills. In addition to traditional and digital photography experience, she also honed photo manipulation skills. Either from photos she has taken or from client-provided material, she have spent an extensive amount of time creating enhanced images from photographs and illustrations.

theatrical costumes
Since she was a teenager playing on my grandmother's old 1960's Kenmore sewing machine, Stefanie found a fascination in making costumes. Mostly she isinterested in historical reenactment costumes such as the kind one would find at various renaissance faires around the country. Recently, after years of playing around with patterns and giving away costume pieces, she have been hired to make historical garb for theatrical and reenactment groups. So far she have been commissioned for over 10 pieces with a line up for more in the coming year. {Click here} for some of her past work.
